Mysterious

This painting captures my inspiration from the human form. My years of portraiture and figure painting and drawing have led to a fascination with human landscape; my appreciation and love for the human figure are easily seen in my work.

I began this painting upon relocating to Las Vegas; the desert had caught my imagination in an entirely new way. Intrigued with the mystery of the enormously vast planes and shapes within the landscape, I instilled the flowing lines of the body into the composition. The pleasing result is a surreal rendition of an Impressionistic landscape, which takes the viewer on their own journey across the landscape of their imagination.
